The Ottawa Section of the Canadian Lebanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry held its Sixth Business & Professional Achievement Awards Gala on Saturday October 24th, 2009. This Gala recognized the accomplishments of both professionals and companies whose local success has contributed to the Canadian and Lebanese communities.

His Excellency, Ambassador of Lebanon, Mr. Massoud Maalouf was also honored by the Governors of the Chamber. His many qualities, skills and achievements have gone beyond the call of duty. He single-handedly rejuvenated the image of the Lebanese community in Canada. He was also instrumental in bringing together all community leaders to be proud of their Lebanese heritage and values.

The event was held at St. Elias Center in Ottawa. Mr. Gary Michaels, General Manager and Program Director, CHIN Radio Ottawa, was the MC for the evening.
